OUR FINE FOOD
Our on-site catering company Hunger Pangs exclusively caters for events at the Pangdean Old Barn. This gives you the absolute confidence that food will be of the highest standard. It also gives the advantage of one single point of contact for all your event plans.
This is proper cooking. From the horseradish sauce for the rare roast beef canapés, to the farm-picked blackberry ice cream: everything is home-made. We use only the absolute best ingredients, 80% of which is sourced from within 50 miles of Pangdean, bought directly from the producer or farmer. All our food is GM, additive free and organic where possible .
Hunger Pangs works from two fully professionally equipped kitchens set right in the heart of the venue.
We can also prepare for your guests a delicious hog-roast or barbeque, which is all cooked on site.

After obtaining her professional catering diploma from Tante Marie, the UK’s oldest cookery school, Nicky started Hunger Pangs in 1990. She has since provided catering for hundreds of events, from intimate dinner parties to functions for hundreds of people.
Nicky cares passionately that you are just as happy with our food as you would be had you ordered it just for two in a top restaurant. We are committed to ensuring that all of your guests enjoy fantastic food, and provide excellent options for vegetarians, vegans and those with specific diets or allergies.
Nicky has assembled a caring and creative team to ensure that Hunger Pangs consistently provides outstanding food. This includes our service and backroom staff. Everybody at Hunger Pangs and Pangdean is focused on making sure your event runs smoothly and that your guests have a wonderful time.
The kitchens are regularly inspected and are awarded 5 stars (the highest rating) by the Health and Hygiene Authority.
