Get married at Pangdean

You can choose to marry off site and come to Pangdean for your reception, or you can marry at Pangdean in one of our beautiful locations. All weddings at Pangdean mean exclusive use of the property, and we have some pretty beautiful places for you to have your ceremony too. We proudly accommodate both large and small weddings, in our historic barn, intimate 'stables' or outside under the apple trees in our charming mulberry lodge.

Venue capacity

The Old Barn

Ceremony capacity - 180 seated

Reception capacity - 180 on round tables or 140 on banquet tables

Decor Options

Pangdean comes beautifully dressed with tealights, candles, storm lanterns and olive trees all included at no extra cost.

 

You can use our decor to create your centerpieces, or feel free to bring your own decor and style the barn exactly how you would like to.

 

We can provide easels for your seating plan, cake stands and even photo boards if you need them!

If you want to add some extra touches, we have great spaces for photo booth hire, gin booths or sweet stands.

Drinks information

No corkage

At Pangdean, you can provide your own alcohol for the reception, meal and toast, which you can have delivered direct to us and we will then store, chill as necessary and then serve for you. We can advise you of the quantities needed.

 

There is NO corkage charge.

 

Soft drinks and table waters are charged separately at a modest extra cost.

Evening drinks

After the meal, there are two choices for you:

1. Either you provide all the alcohol for the evening. For this we charge £5.00 + VAT ** per guest for providing our bar staff, all necessary glasses, and the chilling of drink.

2. Book a pay bar run by our Pangdean staff. No set-up fee is applicable. Our bar is very well-stocked and sold at very reasonable prices.

** Please note that if you take an extension to the venue hire period the charge will increase to £5.50 + VAT per guest

Party/ dancing

If you want a great party, the Old Barn is just perfect. It has hosted countless bands, DJs, Scottish dances, barn dances, drag performers, harpists - you name it, we've hosted it! There is plenty of space for dancing and the Barn comes with an adjustable stage that is perfect for bands or DJs.

 

We don't have noise restrictions due to our rural location which makes it a fantastic venue for live bands.

 

For ceremonies that start at 2 p.m. or later, your party is welcome to run until midnight (with taxis departing by 12.15 am). For ceremonies that start as early as 1.30 pm we ask you to finish your music at 11 p.m. with taxis leaving at 11.15 pm.
